AIRPLANE Vs VOLCANO

Airplane vs Volcano vs Hilarity

In the fine tradition of 70's and 80's disaster movies this film proves that any senario however unlikely or outlandish can be used as a basis for a movie.

Do I applaud Dean Cain's willingingness to tackle the real world inspired drama revolving around a plane and its battle with a volcano?

The answer is yes.

I believe volcanos and their unstoppable forces of nature have a huge ego problem and are due for a comeupance. Let this movie be a warning to all magma bearing cracks in the Earth's crust.  If you mess with Dean Cain while he's flying a plane you will be put in the locker...a hurt locker.

Would I actually recommend this film?

The answer is unequivocally no.

Why is that you ask? Because no more than 5 minutes and 30 seconds into the film I had a strong desire for the volcano to win.  So strong that I cheered at every fire ball launched and booed at every last minute twist that kept the plane flying and the obnoxious passengers alive.

Please note the hilarity mentioned above was a bold faced lie that will haunt me for the rest of my days.
