I went into this movie wide eyed and bushy tailed.  Pun intended. The promise of Christina Ricci, Joshua Jackson, and Shannon Elizabeth proved to be much more than the finger poised over my xbox's remote ok button could handle. 

 

Beautifully shot and well done this movie lulled me into a serene werewolf movie inspired haze until Wes Craven's hand reached out of the screen and slapped me with crap. 

 

I was left feeling slightly dirty and mostly paranoid about the contents of my wallet.  The entire experience was not unlike visiting a smaller used car lot and purchasing an obvious lemon.  You know you have been screwed but you continue on with the purchase out a stubborn desire to prove that you can't be screwed.  Thus you have been screwed. 

 

This viewer was left feeling he was the one cursed for watching this movie.
